Prugnolo Gentile is an ancient vine generally considered a biotype of Sangiovese. La Spinetta has decided to vinify this variety in purity, in order to enhance its peculiarities. The aromas are refined, with notes of plum and violet. The palate is delicate, with a less intense tannic texture but quite similar to that of Nebbiolo.
