The Valtellina Superiore "Il Pettirosso" by Ar.Pe.Pe. is a red made with Chiavennasca grapes, the name como is called the Nebbiolo in Valtellina. Produced only in the best vintages, the homogenization of two very different areas is obtained only with a very long maceration and a patient aging in barrels. It is a mountain wine, fresh elegant and fine. It is a version of Nebbiolo faithful to the terroir, perfectly in line with its characteristics and with the philosophy of the Arpepe Winery, which has always been committed to enhancing the peculiar characteristics of this splendid Alpine Valley with ancient traditions.
